Since completing my occupational therapy certification, I have been working with school-age children. Working with kids has been a life-long passion. I studied early childhood education and taught pre-kindergarten in college and later I worked in a childrens hospital as a recreational therapist, taught preschool gymnastics, and gave third graders tours at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. What I love about occupational therapy is the way both mind and body are addressed.
I am trained in Sensory Integration(SI), Brain Gym, Handwriting Without Tears, NDT, MFR and pediatric yoga. I specialize in helping kids gain better body awareness while gaining the tools to slow down.
I have found that children love MFR! I am available for private sessions with children.
